The Traffic Connection Between Airports
and City Centers

This article deals with some parts of the issue "Traffic connection between airport and city centers". Two case studies are given: London and Copenhagen. These two have many parallels in their development. The issue is rather complex and the increasing implementation of high-speed trains offering a high door-to-door speed, will change the development of many airports, especially those that already have problems with the access-egress transport capacity.
