This paper presents a technique for ranking interrelated urban transportation system alternatives under multiple criteria. The technique allows dealing with alternatives which are interdependent according to at least one major attribute. This feature is virtually nonexistent in the vast majority of multicriteria ranking methods which essentially consider a set of independent alternatives. A numerical example is included in the paper.
